  1. Since your introduction I have show the Try Shoe Finder to three people and mentioned it to a few more. When a site had an app that creates a personal connection to the consumer, helping them through the sales cycle, it’s the ultimate in creating a brand relationship! Hmm, I think I need so new trainers…

    1. yes, I agree. after using the show finder I buy the same pair of shoe from this company every time I need new running shoes because the “shoe is just for me”. This takes away a lot of the uneasiness people may have when buying clothes or shoes online in fear they may not fit. With the shoe finder it feels as if the company cares about your comfort and is right there helping you find exactly what you need.

  2. I like how this website is simplistic and easy to navigate. The top banner isn’t cluttered with a bunch of different things to click. Rather, it only has three main categories: “Running Shoes”, “Apparel”, and “This is Brooks”. The drop down menus for each one of these categories is laid out in a way so there is no confusion on where to go to find what you’re looking for. I find this to be a valuable trait. It can be easy to overwhelm someone who is visiting the site. That is why less-is-more when it comes to website design and layout.

The Brooks brand is very simplistic, they know who they are and what they stand for and they have loyal customers so they don’t feel the need to clutter or overwork their website to try to compete with other shoes brands like Nike, Adidas, or New Balance. Customers who go on the site can easily find what they want and and aren’t bombarded with pop ups and pictures of products.

  3. It’s refreshing to learn of a shoe company other than Nike or Adidas that goes above and beyond to help customers. The fact that they also have you do certain movements to reveal which kind of shoe fits for your body shows this company truly understands runners. This process really seals the deal and creates loyal customers. Great website, I wish more shoe companies had an option such as this, the visuals were helpful in regards to which terrain you normally run on.

    1. The shoe finder is something I haven’t seen on really any other shoe/ or running based website. Not only does Brooks have loyal customers who are skilled runners and know what they are looking for, but the shoe finder and visuals allow newer runners to connect and trust this brand by learning and completing the steps to find the right shoes and apparel for them and they are more likely to shop again because of this personal connection. Giving Brooks a larger and more well-rounded customer base.
